Considering next year will be 30 years since No No No and DC official debut and considering Bey and Kelly are both probably dropping in the coming months....what if Act III tour next year has Kelly (and Michelle?) as opening acts? It would be a cute way to reference the DC era by still promoting their current eras...the thought of Michelle opening the evening with gospel hymns, Kelly breaking down with all her iconic hits and then Bey tearing the house down with her rock opera (with of course a DC medley somewhere in the setlist with the girls)....i think the tickets would sell out like CRAZY. Imagine touring the world with your best friends one more time without the burden of it being a "comeback", "revival" tour but by letting each girl shine on their own idk it could sound corny but i got wet at the thought lol

This is literally the only way I'd be here for a DC tour in 2026 lol

Yes, the announcement of appearance gave the logical assumption that new music was coming, but to have taken that as certainty is to have not learnt anything from the past ~12 years. Beyoncé will move at her own pace, even at the sacrifice of great commercial promo, and to expect is to be disappointed.

If you like complaining about no music, go ahead. If you don't, maybe get into the way she's teasing us with a splashy return to public view, readying herself but not using that for direct promotion, which if we are honest, is very unlike Beyoncé, anyway.

Watching some of the X10 videos a few nights ago, I was reminded how the changing of the opening look (and others, too) of The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour that happened later in the tour was the precursor for the near-total nightly changing of outfits of THE RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR.

And how there are so many examples of a linear progression in her career, especially when it comes to fresh ideas:

• Multiple new tour outfits (pretty new in 2013) ... RWT 2023

• Video anthology in 2007 ... visual album in 2013 ... visual album "film" in 2016 ... visual album "blockbuster" in 2020

• Genre reclamation in 2016 .... genre reclamation as an entire theme in 2022, 2024, 2026(?)

• Making B'Day inspired by Dreamgirls ... making The Gift inspired by The Lion King

• Using the Super Bowl to launch a tour in 2013 ... using the Super Bowl to launch a single AND a tour in 2016 ... using the Super Bowl to launch TWO singles in 2024

• Even just Get Me Bodied in 2006 and Single Ladies in 2008 as two sonic sisters each with its own Fosse-inspired dance video

I've long since come to terms with the fact that she just couldn't care less about promo, streams or whether her albums reach a wider audience. There are so many simple levers she could pull to expand the reach of her new music, she wouldn't even have to leave her airport terminal ass house, but she simply doesn't give a sh*t.

It's clear that the only thing driving her these days is Grammys and anything that brings in as much money as possible. It seems she's content to be a niche artist for music lovers with sophisticated taste rather than striving for TikTok/IG Reels'd mass appeal. It's a big niche ofc, but still a niche.

And given her success in those areas that matter to her (Grammys, net worth, critics, sold-out stadiums), she'll never change her modus operandi, especially not now in the twilight 2nd act of her career. It is what it is…
