I mean I don't believe in theories but it worries me that even the most delusional people have given up hope. Usually they can work something up by counting how many days since her last Instagram post, plus recent activity from Parkwood staff on LinkedIn and the phases of the moon

Lowkey thought about it... I really hope she doesn't take this route. Really. I know there are ways she can make it work but I really hope she isn't planning a ST style re-heating of her nachos

That's the thing. I'm in two minds. I'm more so 70% absolutely **** no, but that other 30% is like...what if it worked? What if the hysteria from it all would be so great, that it literally turned out to be a success.

Granted, she's WAY more lowkey now than she was in 2013, with a more alienated fanbase. So those doubts do come to mind of "Does the world need a surprise drop?"

I hear you but the part of me that says **** NO is more grounded. There's no way it can work and have the hysteria of 2013. Like its not even remotely comparable. Firstly, you just cannot have that 'shock' factor after you already did it once. Especially cuz now she's so much more private, things are already mysterious, half the time we are expecting a surprise and so on. Add to that the difference in her celebrity and how active she is. Add to that the fact that we ARE (the whole world knows a third album is coming), expecting an album. The more I think about it, the more it feels like a dud. Her excitement also comes from her innovation... where's that in such a reheat? Anyway... the world is waiting for how she closes this trilogy, what she actually has to say, what the genre will be, what the visuals will be (if any) and so on. She should absolutely continue the pattern of the first two acts.
