They have a history of causing a mass hysteria and surfing the wave. I think this is what their PR move is at all times: capitalize on the confusion because it generates a lot of buzz and chatter and the frustration even becomes beneficial to them.

Well it was obvious from the start. There's way too many looks in that ITG teaser.

What I'm fearing is that at this point it won't come out in that format anymore. And if there's any visuals coming, it will be something frankenstein'd to encapsulate all 3 acts because I doubt she'd release 1h worth of music videos for Renaissance alone after all these years.

This will remain the biggest mistake of her career, not putting the Renaissance visuals out when it was current, and I will die on this hill. Because the stuff we've seen looks spectacular. As successful as the album was, it could've been a much bigger cultural moment for her had she put this out sometime between the grammys and the start of the tour. And definitely a bigger landmark in her career, a true 'Renaissance'. She let all of it go to waste.

I also just think we need to be hopeful, watchful, ready but not expectant. That only leads to the meltdowns this thread has seen so many times before. Just let the era unfold as it will.

I disagree. We are only speculating from the outside. From the start it was clear that B's vision was a 'trilogy' and she pivoted FAST with whatever she had in mind for the visuals at first - whatever may be the reason. And I respect that because she wouldn't have 'sunk' her investment (visuals) for any small reason. If it wasn't living up to her standard, expectations or vision and she scrapped it - instead of giving into fan 'demand' for visuals, I admire her for it. This type of headstrongness regarding her art and vision is one of the reasons she is still here and killing it like nobody else!!!
