    full disclosure stevie / fmac is my all-time fav artist and Tusk my fav album. but

    im a little nervous regarding the stevie connection for act iii (if it really is rock) bc. the core of Stevie's best music has always had a folkier / almost country spirit which really would fit CC better than any rock album I wanna hear from Bey. As an artist Stevie just doesn't encapsulate the genre nearly as much as Dolly and Grace/Donna did theirs. Like musically speaking what are stevie's iconic "rock" moments - the Edge of Seventeen riff played by Waddy Watchel (stolen from the police FFFFF)? I mean she made three synth-y AOR albums at the peak of her solo career LOL (that I love)

    I assume the stevie channeling will be more visual / live performance-based i.e. the iconic Rihannon performances etc. idk just don't want Bey pulling punches with this!

    This is classic Yvette. Whenever she attempts to do anything it backfires. If she was genuinely trying to kill the rumours because they weren't true, she failed because it's now in every major publication.

    I was thinking about this earlier.

    "The Chain" has a really edgy sound and kind of rhythmic stomp to it, almost like "Freedom". I can see her carrying a song like that very well, but the idea of a live cover of Rihannon I love
