I've always said this but CC is an amazing album. It's just Country is a **** genre and is the worst genre of all time. Thank God Bey didn't do a traditional Country one.

I also need that BritKnee stan on twitter to **** off and jump off a clip. On every post about Bey on twitter that demon be saying disgusting **** about Beyonce in the Comments. I'm not even exaggerating either. Plus making countless stupid post about Beyonce. Britney don't even sing anymore. It's stupid they started a stan war on twitter. I like Britney songs but it's 2026. Bey reigns supreme.

Jay is getting dragged / gaining traction for saying "Breaking / Breakdance " is dead ( similar like timothy for ballet ) and him being from NYC the birthplace and how its easy for him to say that and not supporting despite being a Mogul and part of HipHop . Honestly we are in a time and age of social media where detachment isnt a good look especially from people of that status and money . People are looking for relatabillity and equality also especially in the entertainment industry and especially that comment when dancers ( including Breakdance ) have been a crucial part of Hip Hop / Pop etc Music Videos Shows etc ....and ofc this convo might ( I hope not fall back onto B as everything ) . I dont mind Jay but im kinda getting tired now ....

A rapper breakdancing in this generation would get laughed at by Gen Z. People are sensitive and Corny nowadays.

Its not about him Breakdancing the convo was about the 4 pillars of HipHop ( there are actually 5 lol ) and his statement still was not a good choice especially being a Billionaire and a HipHop Mogul . Despite anything Dance is a big part of the Culture (till this day ) and has carried alot of it on its backs . Maybe it wont carry wait but the convo if it gets into the same vain as Timothy Cs statement about Opera and Ballet will bite him a bit (again ) but lets see ....I just think its a choice to make that stament especially now .

Beyonce is to blame because she has been teasing a bunch of visuals for the past FOUR years.

Do we know what happened with Armani and Beyonce?

She snagged the closing gown of his debut couture collection in 2005, then did their perfume campaign Diamonds in 2006 and wore it again to the Oscars and other appearances in 2006/2007 as well as some of TBE tour costumes, he invited her to the Met Gala in 2008 (thank goodness, she discovered Thierry Mugler there) and after that blank for a while... just the one custom dress in 2010 for the Grammys. Then nothing...

They haven't done anything together since, his shimmering fabrics would have done wonders at the RWT.

At its foundation, it's a good album. There is great writing, beautiful melodies and some of her best lyrics.

Renaissance was similarly ambitious in its sonic scope, but its concept was much tighter. As always, my favourite thing about Beyoncé is her ambition. And I wouldn't really change CC as a consequence.

But it lacks that laser focus Renaissance had. It's more of an art project than an album.

I think one of my reflections is that Beyoncé's art is often more impactful when she has to operate within constraints of some kind. Whether that be time, resources, or concept.

I agree with everything except the bolded part. I don't think it has to do with what you said. CC is lyrically much stronger and B is expressing many complex emotions in creative ways. Everything else you said is true though! She does work well under an 'assignment' because it puts certain constraints.

CC is thematically more complex, and it feels a bit heavy, making it a less 'tight' project in terms of its execution.

I would love insight into the making of Black is King (not the Gift, I know we have that). I'd love to see when it evolved from 1-2 videos (Already & Find Your Way Back) to a full film. Plus I'm curious as to how they pivoted when the pandemic happened. Like do we know when filming wrapped? I think the discet podcast on Spotify revealed that most of Beyonce's scenes were shot outside of Africa. I'm curious which were and weren't. How did they manage travel during the beginning of Covid. So many questions!

Filming began already back in 2018 ( A friend of mine was in / part of one of the videos )
