I actually believe that article, and my excitement for act iii is now higher than ever. A Hole cover would be insane (if true, I bet Courtney Love is gonna say something crazy a la Kelis), and Lenny Kravitz is one of my favorite artists. Plus, he's having a resurgence, so the timing couldn't be better

I'm not in the music industry, but the album being pulled from the internal release calendar doesn't sound so awful to me. Maybe she was like, "I can't commit to this date anymore." The only doom and gloom I'd possibly glean from it is that she agreed to the Met when she thought she was releasing music around that time, and she couldn't back out after she committed.

I don't get how it would make sense he was removed from the project mostly or entirely and he would still be teasing it in interviews, without any vitriol or shade.

Don't underestimate someone's ability to have their head buried in the sand. It wouldn't surprise me to find out The Dream is 1) in denial or 2) purposefully teasing it to try and put pressure on her.

The accusations against him are credible and seem to go back for quite awhile, so I knew she would have a difficult choice to make when I read them. Then, compound that with the false accusations against Jay and it's a PR nightmare waiting to happen.

Celebrity Skin is the obvious one, considering Courtney wrote it about all the accusations of her killing Kurt Cobain, the way people demonize her, and how fraudulent celebrity/Hollywood is. But it might be a little too obvious. (Which I also thought Jolene was too obvious, so...)

Don't panic, Beyhive ... but don't expect everything to go according to plan either.

Insiders tell me that Beyoncé's highly anticipated next album was quietly pulled from Sony's internal release calendar late last year, sparking whispers of delays and creative upheaval. Before you jump to conclusions, this doesn't mean the project is shelved. If anything, it's classic Beyoncé: perfection up to the last minute.

"She changes things until the very last second," one source says. "Nothing is locked until she says it is." And this time, the changes may be more than just last-minute tweaks.

I'm told a key collaborator on the album became entangled in a messy legal battle, prompting Beyoncé to distance herself entirely. The fallout? Several tracks heavily shaped by that individual are being reworked or replaced altogether. Her team has reportedly been "shopping for songs" to fill the gaps since last year, while salvaged material is being reshaped by new producers behind the scenes.

But here's where it gets interesting.

The project, which has allegedly been in development since at least 2023, is rumored to lean heavily into rock and even metal influences. Yes, you read that right.

Among the names being floated as contributors: Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine fame, Slash from Guns N' Roses, Nuno Bettencourt, and Lenny Kravitz. And the genre-bending doesn't stop there. I'm hearing Beyoncé also cut a demo with pop-punk hitmaker Mitch Allan, and there's even talk of a possible Hole cover making its way into the mix.

"It's bold, it's loud, and it's not what people expect," another insider teases. "But that's the point."

So while the album may have briefly disappeared from the calendar, make no mistake: Beyoncé isn't retreating. And if history tells us anything, it's that when she goes quiet, something major is coming.

I think this is too specific to be made up. I'm assuming he consider the source reliable, but we don't know what the source actually knows or not.

If this is true, I hope they managed to catch it before they pressed the vinyls 💩

If Beyoncé hosts the Met Gala and doesn't announce new music then I think we can say this story is accurate

I don't think I believe the Dream part. Everything else about how she is delaying act 3 and the other information seems true but the reason they are giving for why sounds like BS to me. Wouldn't the Dream be bitter AF or at least throw subliminal shade towards her on that interview if that was the case? I've been a fan of Bey for years and I notice that some of the producers who she worked with that she ended up not using on her albums ended up shading her. Hint: Jermaine Durpri Back in the day!

It's why I believe it because he probably doesn't know. So I bet the shade will come later (if true)

This reminds me of that one guy who was a part of the choir background for Jolene, and didn't know he'd be on it until CC actually came out.

not with The Dream babes, he was the one that legit remastered Cowboy Carter in terms of the transitions on the album. He is heavily involved in both acts.
