No shade but Beyonce discography will always be more timeless than pop girls because she has a lot of R&b and urban tracks in her discography. Bey discography also manages to be diverse as well.

I think sometimes the hive confuses their priorities as stans with Bey's personal priorities. For Renaissance and cowboy Carter, she was able to make culturally impactful work and tons of money touring while performing less shows than she had to in the past. That IS success to her. Artistic fulfillment and working less for more money. From her perspective, she's doing fine. She just wants to do her lil projects, make her coin, and be left alone

Because she don't GAF about us as much as I love Bey, she's never really been a "for the fans" type of artist. Especially not post pandemic. She sees her career as more of personal fulfillment than trying to appease her fanbase. I actually think it's good for an artist to be a little disconnected from their fanbase. Some artists have a toxic, codependent relationship with theirs

Personal fulfillment ain't enough, i wonder how she feels when her music is paid dust (like in 'Black is King' situation). She's not a low profile artist, there's not point releasing stuff that gets limited repercussion due to her shenanigans and that backfires in the long run.

Well, she made adjustments in how she released things so Renaissance did not suffer the same fate as the gift. It's not that she doesn't care about commercial success at all, she just does the bare minimum to maintain herself.

Well that's true, she doesn't. It's more than a little disconnected though. It's drop the music and she then gone til tour. No one is asking her for her personal life.
