Because her producers are better at imitating acclaimed artists, songs & albums? Like...what do you want these 2 couldn't be any more different in terms of the sounds they're exploring. It's just you forcing some weird narrative that there's a competition here.

Funny how Addison's so-called acclaim did not manifest into multiple Grammy noms like every other truly acclaimed artist.

How are they similar artists? Tate is obviously focusing on commercial success and Addison very obviously is not (Addison's not even big commercially at all)

on what f*cking planet… you're seriously trying to say that Addison and Tate are better than Lights when artistically they couldn't touch Lights with a 3000 mile long pole dgmw, Addison and Tate have some cute bops respectively, but neither of them are touching songs like these in terms of lyrics, melodies, and productional values:

Because Addison is more artistic, makes better music and is a genuine student of music and pop culture history. What she does has more class to it.
