  1. As expected
  2. This, people, forget that she was a very popular Disney star with Girl Meets World, and did a couple of popular YA films - The Hate U Give, Tall Girl, and Work It. She already had a huge following and name recognition. She just needed the right music/brand for the GP to view her as a pop girl and tune in. She had over 30m Instagram followers when Emails was released. Then when she started getting traction with nonsense/feather, she got the biggest platform in modern music with the Eras Tour and Taylor co-sign. It's hard to imagine anyone not gaining a huge fanbase under those same conditions.
  3. I have to believe this is some form of psychosis or trolling cos there's no way you believe this, when Addison is directly recreating Britney's looks and even her street style.
  4. Sorry but the execution of this is giving Hello dubai. But excited for whatever coming
  5. Yeah I think a pop girl either has to generate intense emotion/interest either love or hate to be successful. Anything milder than that is a shaky place to be e.g Dua, Katy. As long as she continues to have a strong loyal fanbase, the online discourse doesn't matter. But you're right that it is unappeasable, nothing she does is ever going to be enough. hopefully she's completely tuned out to all of the noise and doesn't let it bother her.
  6. As much as she probably hates the constant random backlash she gets, I'm sure her PR team is rejoicing. There was a time she got no hate because no one GAF about her. But the constant discourse around her for simply existing and doing her job is only proof of how relevant she is. It might be my algorithm, but I've seen zero conversation around any other person who performed at Lollapalooza and so many viral Tate tweets. She definitely has the highest engagement on socials from anyone who performed.
  7. Tucker McRae, he played hockey for Dartmouth
  8. I don't think the album is coming this year. From her recent interviews, she's still working on it, and it doesn't sound like it's close to final yet. But based on TL and SCTW, she typically releases the lead single before the album is finished, so the single could still come this year.
  9. From your lips to God's ears.
  10. The thing is, it can never hurt to use the momentum of a big stage to promote a single. E.g Sabrina with Espresso, and Chappell with Good Luck Babe. Releasing a single now and performing it at Lolla, Osheaga, the VMAs, even VSFS would have given her more reach than she could generate in January. Also, if the song smashed as much as her next lead should, it could have led to Grammy or Brit noms which would have been 2 massive performance opportunities for TM4. I think her team needs to be more strategic about the timing of her releases and the promo opportunities available. IOIO would have been bigger if it debuted at Lolla 2024 and the 2024 VMAs. Sport's car and revolving door would also have been bigger if the VMA performance was closer to release.
  11. It was pointless, we agree on that. Doesn't have any bearing on the fact that she's not MAGA.
  12. When has she ever said anything other than stream my music lol? People acting like she's outspoken in general but silent on this one issue. She's simply does not and has never spoken publicly about anything except her music, why would politics be different?
  13. The instant reception and positive results every time she gets on a stage. Not everyone has that to their credit. This is why I think the key to a proper takeover, is getting her on as many stages possible. I know these things aren't always within their control, but her team needs to leverage every resource they have to get her on every major festival, award show, or performance opportunity.
