Tate McRae
It would be just like her to do that. I remember when she had her first live late-night tv performance in 2021, and she had already started teasing her debut album and feel like sh1t then, so everyone was expecting her to premiere feel like sh1t live, but she performed that way instead because it was viral on TikTok.

She said she had her first session in February. She also said in Vogue that she's working on something this summer that she's really excited about sharing, which I assumed was a fall single. But maybe it was the CK ad

I need a sign that we're getting a September single this year. Everything has been so quiet lately.

Why do people gag so hard over Tate McRae?
This is probably one of the more accurate descriptions of why her appeal is broader than the other dance girls. The portion of her fandom that is solely there for her dancing is way less than people think. 90% of her fandom is straight Gen Z girls who don't care about her being « the next Britney » Her gay fans are not moving the needle at all on her career. And millennial gays definitely don't stan her so this is very inaccurate.

Tate McRae
It really has. The choreography is more fluid, and she's the focal point. The dancers were staged/choreographed around her perfectly. Also, the choreography was a lot more elevated/ethereal than her usual stuff, which has a pedestrian element to it. Funny thing is her tasteless TikTok fans were complaining that the new choreo is terrible and she shouldn't have changed it. That being said, I still feel like none of the choreography she gets is anywhere near her full potential as a dancer. I get that the difficulty level has to be lower because she's singing live but it's odd that a lot of her biggest strengths as a dancer - fluidity, control, movement quality, musicality are exactly what's not showcased in her choreography as a pop girl. Feel like sh1t music video, and Sports Car VMAs is the closest anyone has gotten to capturing what makes her dancing special.

Why do Twitter gays hate Tate but love Addison so much?
The tariffs affected the economy of every country. Nothing makes Canada special on this matter. I live in Canada too, and no one cared. The backlash was from chronically online people who already have an unhinged hate boner against her. No one who has bills to pay and real-life problems cared that Tate McRae did an ad for NBC and mentioned the US team. And she made Junos history a few weeks later, so clearly the Canadian music industry didn't care either. At least you're self aware.

Yes he was. There were tariffs on UK imposed by Trump at the same exact time as the Canadian tariffs. And trump is a threat to every sovereign nation in the world. Thanks for demonstrating once again that no one actually cares about these issues until it's time to weaponise them against a pop girl you don't like.

They prove that Tate has specific input into her music. She's given detailed production notes. She's writing lyrics herself. She wrote greenlight entirely by herself. Amy Allen, Ryan Tedder, Julia Michaels have all said Tate is a lyricist and a melodicist, and she's in the driving seat of her songs. And what exactly is her specific involvement? What is her exact contribution? She said herself she went to Colombia with nothing but colours and vibes and visuals, and was signed with zero music. Tate was 14, meeting labels for the first time with multiple solo-written songs to her name. Another subjective and delusional claim. Addison has plenty of shallow, vapid and empty songs. If you really want to go there, Tate has far more meaningful songs than Addison. Purple lace bra, chaotic, Want that too, Calgary, Nostalgia, She's All I Wanna be. Pretty much her entire discography before greedy. Ok, and purple lace bra is about being treated as a sexual object in relationships and by the media, want that too is about being taking advantage of by the industry, hate myself - self-hate and insecurity, she's all i wanna be - jealousy and insecurity, horseshoe/go away - finding success and still not being fulfilled, revolving door- being trapped in a toxic cycle in relationships. Speaking of sex, isn't that what Diet Pepsi is about? The music video is also her literally selling sex and appealing to creeps with a foot fetish. And the nerve to speak on profound lyrics when these are Addison lyrics -"love New York, love New York", "money's everything", "when it comes to shoes i'll be a sl*t". How profound. And that makes her work deep how? Her entire career is built on referencing and cosplaying as some kind of artiste and basic gays fall for it. Tate doesn't have to curate a fake persona to appeal to pretentious gays.

Everything you've said purely delusional, but this especially is the height of delusion. Between the two of them, Tate is the one who is involved in every single aspect of her artistry. If you lock both of them in a room with zero collaborators, only Tate is capable of leaving that room with a fully written, recorded song and music video. Tate has written songs entirely by herself, directed and written creative treatment for her music videos, done her own choreography, and shot multiple music videos by herself. What can Addison do by herself? What makes her an artist when she can't write, sing, or produce music? This is exactly why the GP constantly rejects Addison. Her stans and her team keep trying to push the narrative that she's an artist, and absolutely no one is buying it. Anyone with a brain can listen to both of them talking about the creative process and see that Addison has zero actual contribution compared to Tate

Right. This is Tate at age 13 doing one of the hardest variations in ballet on pointe. And ballet isn't even her strongest style of dance. I think people who've never stepped into a dance class before are in no position to speak on her dancing.

This delusional revisionist history take as always. You Broke me first exists. 2 billion streams, most streamed female solo song of 2020, and it was released 7 months after Tate was signed. It's been two years since Addison's debut and she doesn't even have a US top 40 hit
