Tyla debuts hand with 6 fingers in new music video
I'll never understand the reasoning for this. There was zero downside to doing that collab.

BTS announce they will not submit their music to the GRAMMYs this year
People saying the Grammys shouldn't segregate Asian pop, I get the sentiment, but kpop acts were never in contention for the main categories anyway. It's not like the Grammys are removing them to "let the white artists win" they were never in the game. So now they get a pity genre win/nomination as opposed to none at all, same as the African and Latin acts. If you ask most winners and nominees of those categories, I'm sure they prefer being Grammy winners and nominees to the alternative. At the end of the day, Grammys is an American award show, and most countries have an international category for every artist not from that country E.g Brits, Junos, ArIas.

Tate McRae seemingly teases new era
She does seem to be teasing Oct though. Jake Shane is wearing a shirt that has October on it in the teaser pic. So maybe it's single 1 in Aug, Single 2 in Oct, Album in Jan. If true, her team is the worst for constantly releasing at the worst time. Have a little faith and try for a Q2 album for once. Lol this is fake too. The only source is that damn x account again.

Tate McRae
She played 15 songs with 1 hour at Lollapalooza's in south america last year and 16 songs with 1 hour at Lollapalooza chicago in 2024

She's outgrown this one. She needs to play some deluxe songs - Nobody's Girl and Trying on shoes maybe. Also dear God and purple lace bra. And Siren Sounds is the biggest album track so that probably makes it by default. She played 15 songs at Lollapalooza in South America, so she'll probably do around that.

Tate McRae seemingly teases new era
She didn't sadly. A tate stan on x started the rumour. They always make up random "reliable insider" tea for engagement. It's funny how far this one went tho.

Tate McRae seemingly teases new era
I just realised they mean Oct 2026 and Jan 2027, not Oct 26 and Jan 27. But either way it's fake. They're just guesses because 1:1 and 10:1 are on the promo posters

Tate McRae seemingly teases new era
Can this be true? Why would she start teasing a single in July if it's coming at the end of October?

Tate McRae seemingly teases new era
This! People are always diagnosing what she needs to do and how she needs to change, but the reality is she's built an incredible career doing exactly what she's doing, and she's been on a consistent upward trajectory.

She's been on like 3 vacations this year lol. Time to get back to work.- Tate McRae seemingly teases new era
I'm scared what if she releases a full album like SCTW deluxe?- Tate McRae seemingly teases new era
How come there's no insider tea this time around? Have they learned their lesson from the leaks and locked everything down?- Tate McRae seemingly teases new era
I'm torn, it feels like she's not fully established herself yet so she needs to keep applying pressure. She can't survive long breaks like Billie or Olivia without losing momentum. But she can't survive a rushed, messy release either.- Is the industry too quick to anoint black pop stars?
If my posts are reading as me saying black artists shouldn't be celebrated, that's not my intention. I think the opposite. I'm rooting for there to be more black superstars. But I still think there's a push for instant superstardom for certain artists, which IMO doesn't work as well as investing in long-term development. Obviously it's not the case for every single black artist in existence. On this list, Sza, Tems, Victoria Monet, Raye, and Pink were promoted in a very different way than Tyla, Doechii or Ice Spice, and I think it's a more successful strategy. Doja is a rare example of someone who took off immediately after their first breakthrough hit. - Tate McRae seemingly teases new era
