I love to talk about myself, and I expect everyone to do the same with me. sharing is caring.

I don't want to say never because that would be a lie, but truthfully it depends on the company. With work colleagues they must think I'm a dick because I'm so shut off and basically never share details about myself or my life to them. :skull: But I just don't have a super close relationship with any of my colleagues.

With close friends it's different and obviously with them I do talk about myself and what's been going with me/my life etc, but that's generally because they've asked. :michael: I don't really like to start conversations about what's been going with me, I'll ask my friends first and wait for them to ask me afterwards. :skull:

Hardly ever. The only person I work with is so self-involved it's not even funny. My local friends don't really feel like friends. I went out to dinner with them last night and not only was I talked over as usual but nobody asked how things were going. I have one friend that moved away and we text occasionally but most often we're just dumping updates on each other rather than having conversations and really asking about each other. Well, I ask but more questions than not get brushed aside.

oy vey… I think most of y'all know me by now: constantly :tornado: I even got dragged for it, rightfully, in Stand Your Ground a few weeks ago lol

disgusting behaviour for someone pushing 40

Rarely.

But I'm surrounded by people who cannot stop talking about themselves, I can tell they all have HUGE egos.

I just started a new job and I'm embarrassed by how often I talk to myself around others

I ask a lot about others because it interests me but also wait for them to ask about me to see if they are not only self centred, because self centred people are the worst to get along. Monologues are boring

My name is Taylor Alison Swift and I don't like talking about myself too much. I'm very shy and an introvert. I usually keep to myself. In the past I got hurt a lot by oversharing so I never talk about myself in conversations. I don't even use I as there's no I in TEAM. I create fictional scenarios using "my friend" or "my neighbor" "my cousin" etc as the subject to ask for things. I hate myself and I wish I never existed. Privacy is very important to me and I ask people to leave me tf alone and thankfully they do. I am very afraid of saying the wrong thing about myself that can get me cancelled.
