We needed something with lots of colour, great cinematography, and lots of replay value. Something similar to the "Wildest Dreams" video would've been perfect.

She really needs to stop directing her music videos and go back to Joseph Kahn. They created magic together.

But I guess the rumours of her shooting the video in the mall (UK?) was correct!!!

Now that the MV is a chop, the nick name of this song is now Parasite.

It's a cute music video, very Taylor coded and unique. I like it! Love that opalite is being pushed properly as a single; I hope it goes on to become one of her biggest hits. It's just.so.gooodddd… especially the chorus.

Opalite is my least favorite from the new album but that hook-chorus is really strong. It stays in your mind.
Max Martin songs sometimes feel basic but theyre mathematically designed to be big.
The video is good for february valentines day and all the awkward strange couples there's too many like that

As a simple gay man personally I prefer mvs where the artist lip syncs to the lyrics instead of short film style videos but this was cute too I think it matches the vibe of the song perfectly
