I like Tate but I'm not sure how to feel about this… This is giving me "2 Hands". Cute song, but very little replay value and not a good single choice. The fact that they released this as the LEAD single? Surely there had to be some better options.

Did he sample Madonna's "Impressive Instant" or Kylie's "In Your Eyes" on Canada Dry?

Haven't listened to this in full yet because I'm busy at work. But I quickly skimmed through the album and I have the same issue with this album like I do with all of Troye's albums… there's simply way too many midtempos and not enough bops. The only song that stood out to me was Canada Dry. Funny enough, that's the song on this album with the highest rating on AlbumOfTheYear.org It's so frustrating how he continues to waste his incredible talent on these boring midtempos when it's clear both his fans and the GP prefer his bops like Rush, Got Me Started, etc. He could've had his Future Nostalgia moment by now if he ditched these slow slow songs, I fear

Let's go Queen! We love you Caresha and I love JT but she's been disappointing me. Her "City Cinderella" mixtape in 2024 was INCREDIBLE… but then she didn't follow up with anything besides a few droplets here and there. JT kinda killed her own hype, which is sad to see because she's so talented. Kudos to Caresha for striking while the iron's still hot. "Spend Dat" was genuinely the biggest rap song of the summer. Januarys are known for not having many mainstream music releases, so all eyes would be on her. February 7, 2027: First live performance of lead single at the Grammys March 2027: Perform lead single and unreleased album track on SNL (similar to what Olivia Rodrigo did a few months ago) April 9, 2027: Album release & Second Single. April 9-11, 2027: Coachella April 16-18, 2027: Coachella Please Dua don't **** this up like… we NEED the album to be released during Coachella weekend. She won't get any bigger promo slot than that.
