i was going to say  i've been using crossfade in every music platform that has ever existed (it's an option that pretty has always been there) so i don't get what this really is

it's not available in france but it's clearly just another useless gimmick (+ what's the point if i have to pick out the songs to transition myself ? shouldn't the AI dj or whatever do it for me ? )

anything but offering premium users decent audio quality i guess

I've had this feature for a long time...Maybe it was beta? I like using this for my concept tour playlists.

Someone do a stopless Confessions on a Dancefloor playlist por favor

Don't have that feature yet, but sounds like it could be cute for certain genres like EDM

There has always been a crossfade setting. Is this something different?

it used to be on Spotify as one long song but i guess her team figured out that was terrible for her streaming revenue so they took it down :celestial3:

I'm trying to not use Spotify because I hate what the CEO is doing with the moment but ffs Apple Music is horrible to use, user experience wise 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I love the Spotify DJ but my one complaint is that it cuts off the outros of songs sometimes. Really good outros that I want to hear but it just merges randomly into the next song. They should focus on developing better, more natural transitions with their AI

what those trashbags need to bring back is the "create a similar playlist" feature

so it allows you to choose where and when the crossfade begins. ok this is interesting then but idk if it's worth all the effort it's going to take

Right. I tried to switch a few times to AM but I just can't get into their awful UX. I'm conflicted cause I wanna ditch Spotify

It's not really different from their basic crossfade functionality... I just set it at 12 sec and call it a day.

I already crossfade everything but I enjoy that it's now more accessible. this is sure to annoy old school DJs.

that tweet saying "apple music you are dust" as if AM doesn't do the same and on its own :suburban:

Yes been using it for over a year now, and it's easy to listen to during a work day, gives you a mix of your faves and related music.

Wait I dont have this. Wow this sounds so good!!! I can't wait until it becomes available to me

Why did you put a fail of an example in the OP? I'm excited for the feature, Kii Spotify beating Apple to it before Apple could even release their buggy iOS 28 :lmao:
