      i was going to say  i've been using crossfade in every music platform that has ever existed (it's an option that pretty has always been there) so i don't get what this really is

      it's not available in france but it's clearly just another useless gimmick (+ what's the point if i have to pick out the songs to transition myself ? shouldn't the AI dj or whatever do it for me ? )

    As someone who DJs, I assume that it beat matches and then transitions on the right part of the 4 count.

    I downloaded iOS 26 beta and tried out the Apple Music DJ thing. It's cool and all but it always cuts a lot of the song out in the transition. Definitely won't be using it, and I had to fully reset my phone and go back to iOS 18 because 26 was so bad.

    I hate these crossfade things. Why would I choose to not listen to a song's outro/the full song? :biblio:

    I love the crossfade so this be a cool feature especially between metalcore to Kpop but I turned it off ever since it cuts my minutes off on statsfm
