  1. I definitely agree. As much as I love some of her deep cuts, a huge portion of the people going to the shows are casual or nostalgia fans, not necessarily fans who know every album track, so it makes total sense to lean heavily into the biggest hits and the songs people immediately recognize. It gets the audience excited, reminds them how much they loved her music, and hopefully might get them to revisit the rest of her catalog. Then if she tours again down the road, she can always switch things up and bring out more deep cuts once that interest has been rebuilt, but I think the setlist is perfect for this tour.
  2. because i'm a mature adult and my identity is not defined by an artist's political views
  3. Some people have zero identity outside of stan culture, so they need critics to validate their taste. If their fave gets a good score, suddenly pitchfork is the supreme court of music, and if the score is bad and especially when the album is already getting dragged then they either have a full meltdown or instantly switch sides and start parroting the review word for word lol. I'll never understand the concept of letting someone else tell you whether you're allowed to enjoy an album.
  4. literally the best song on the album
  5. It's an album discussion thread. I gave my opinion on the album. Groundbreaking concept, I know.
  6. She's already explained why she doesn't want to tour. I'd much rather have a healthy, sober Miley releasing music when she feels ready than watch her put her wellbeing at risk just to chase hits or keep fans happy.
  7. it just feels like the album is just one whole song, very monotonous, the only highlight for me is big feelings, absolutely amazing.
  8. I never understood why ATRL hates her. Personally I love bandaids and Watch It Burn
  9. Courage (Celine Dion): Opened at No. 1 then plunged all the way to No. 111 the second week.
  10. maggots for brains the cure my way stupid song drop dead what's wrong with me expectations u + me = <3 purple cigarette smoke begged less honeybee
  11. I actually think it's one of the sharpest songs on the album because it's not just "oh no poor Taylor people were mean to her" it's 's her leaning fully into the villain camp of it all and making fun of how absurd internet outrage can get, like the whole point is that it sounds dramatic and ridiculous because the cycle itself is dramatic and ridiculous.
  12. Hell no. I don't want to pay more taxes. I already pay enough. Not to mention the obscene wait times to be seen by a doctor if this was implemented. You essentially would have to be dying to be seen by a doctor.
  13. Saw this on Reddit, could it be real?
