  1. No, it's not. I'm Jewish and have no problem saying Merry Christmas. I flew with Emirates, a Muslim company, just a few days ago, and they wished everyone Merry Christmas, which I thought was nice and shows how committed they are to fighting extremism.
  2. I don't even understand what this thread has to do with Israel/Palestine. I posted a news story about a serious anti-LGBTQ incident, which everyone should be worried about given the current situation in the US, and suddenly it was hijacked just like the Australia terror attack thread was hijacked. I swear, some of you suffer from Israel derangement syndrome. Not everything is about Israel. Chill.
  3. I never said any of those things. Meanwhile, another user just opened a fake news thread about a movie director implying the October 7 genocide was justified.
  4. That's what being in an echo chamber 24/7 does to you. These people live in such an echo chamber that they believe everything is a conspiracy theory with ulterior motives. Edit: just realized that user is a Nicki fan ew
  5. I'm not? I posted one story about ISIS terrorists planning to commit a massacre against the Jewish community, which I'm a member of. And now this story about a man attempting to run over LGBTQ people, which I'm also a member of. Not sure why you're so offended.
  6. I'm actually surprised Florida took this seriously and charged him with a hate crime, given how anti-LGBTQ this state is.
  7. Turkey is the most genocidal country in history, built on the mass killings of 4 million indigenous Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, and others, and it has been bullying all its neighbors ever since. Not even counting the way it treats its Kurdish minority. Y'all need to stop making excuses.
  8. Agree. All foreign lobbies need to be banned.
  9. Sorry, I mistook you for THAT user, who considers CAIR a legitimate civil rights group and claims that criticizing them is Islamophobic, even though they are banned and designated as a terrorist organization in the UAE, a Muslim country, due to their alleged ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.
  10. Tbh, I don't even know why I was banned. I was not given any explanation whatsoever for where I committed any violation. Meanwhile the users who are constantly dehumanizing Israelis and even using Nazi language, calling them "rats" didn't even receive a warning. Anywho, I've recently returned from my Birthright Israel trip and I'm going to start following their advice. As much as people being obsessed with and blaming a tiny country the size of New Jersey for all their problems is scary, at the end of the day it's also flattering and it all boils down to envy. So I no longer care. Post about AIPAC and the Israeli lobby all you want. Just don't come for me when I post about CAIR and the Qatari lobby.
  11. So I hope you and that user don't come for me and my sources like you did in the past. As you said, we're not necessarily checking their entire timelines or endorse everything they say. Deal?
  12. All I'm saying is please be more careful with your sources. You also repost a lot of Pakistani and Qatari fake news accounts, like that AdamMedia or something, which spread the lie that the Bondi beach shooter was Israeli.
  13. Not you amplifying a neo-Nazi, Christian nationalist account. Horseshoe theory in full swing, I see.
  14. Praying that Israel doesn't choose another ballad again. The war is over, and it's time to move on. I'm hoping for an uplifting pop serve like Unicorn.
  15. Why are y'all acting like gay trans men don't exist? They are perfectly capable of giving birth.

So I recently returned from a trip to Israel, and they were saying on the news that Gaga's wedding dress is being made by Israeli designer Alon Livne. They also said she might get married there, since her fiancé Michael is Jewish and has ties to the country. I don't know how they would know that, but I was surprised. I guess we'll find out soon.
  17. Cypriots are more upset that Turkey has illegally occupied half of the island for decades, long before Erdogan.
  18. Walid Saadaoui and Amar Hussein were just found guilty of planning a mass shooting against Jews in Manchester. They bought AK-47s, handguns, and 1,200 rounds of ammunition. They planned to dress as Jews and open fire in schools, synagogues, markets.
  19. Nobody posted about the Israeli hero who helped neutralize the terrorist. I wonder why.
  20. I grew up in New York, and the first time I experienced culture shock was when I traveled to New England (Maine, New Hampshire). Everyone was so white, and it felt strange compared to the diversity I was used to back home. Still, it felt vaguely familiar and even reminded me of upstate New York. But the real culture shock came in the Midwest. I had to go to Indiana for a school trip and it felt completely foreign. The pace of life, the lack of diversity and public transportation, the boring suburbs where there was nothing to do, and the way people interacted were so different from anything I had ever known in New York. I was like "Damn is this how most of America lives?" Have you ever experienced anything like this?
