The album flows so well and totally brings me into her world

 

 

2nd listen and this Album is definitely an album you listen from start to finish to really appreciate each song. 
 

Cards has me a chokehold 

my issue with Gorgeous is that its an obvious 80s version of Agora Hills

people having different favourites on this album tells me it's a GROWER

went in not expecting much

but liking this a lot so far

So far only Jealous Type, Lipstain and Take Me Dancing are memorable. How are you going to emulate one of the most complete soundscapes of the 80s and serve boring and forgettable melodies and hooks. it's very disappointing.

Ok, after three listens, I can say I'm getting into this album much more easily than Scarlet.

 

I'm glad she's going back to a more pop sound, but not as commercial as Planet Her.

 

This one feels like a mix between Hot Pink and Amala, with an 80s vibe, and it speaks to me a lot more since those were the two albums through which I first discovered and appreciated her!

 

She has total control over her singing voice, she can really be proud of that, and in the end, the 80s touch is very well balanced.

Great work with the additional vocals throughout the songs—she clearly had fun with it, and I love that! It feels very Hot Pink!

And I really like the use of French lyrics here and there (we agree that in Lipstain she says "t'embrasser sur le cul" and not "sur le cou", right??).

 

Big favorites for Couples Therapy and Take Me Dancing.

 

I don't have any skips—if I really had to pick one track that feels a bit weaker, maybe it's Lipstain.

 

Vie really solidifies her discography. I hope she supports it long-term with live performances and music videos!
