    beyonce is a more enjoyable listen imo, but lemonade is so tightly crafted and the perfect length….

    Lemonade is probably a better album overall, but its single run is weighed down by Sorry being one of the worst songs of the 2010s and yet continuing to dominate the era :suburban:

    Love both immensely, but while Lemonade showcased a side of Beyoncé no one had fathomed, BEYONCÉ was THAT *****, and for good reason. Literally changed the game too. :clap3:

    lemonade is more "mature" i suppose but st is a better album overall. the singles listed for lemonade are stronger tho

    lemonade is more rich in sound and narrative but self titled still takes the cake for me, too many classics on that album, especially with the overall atmosphere around the release and its impact. i always rank these two pretty close to each other in her discography though

    BEYONCE is a transitional album, that I had a lot of nostalgia about. It has great highs but is a sort of random collection of songs

     

    Lemonade is just, idk, its actual art in music form. It just stands alone. It's not even that it's her best album, although it could be. It's just so different to the others
