If the guy promises you that he will come out of the closet eventually and just needs more time, would you be able to wait for him or is that a dealbreaker for you?

I guess yes

But it's much easier for the place I live in, since it's a homophobic country and everyone has some sort of privacy to them

probably not, i get that people need to come out in their own time but for me personally having to lie and pretend is triggering, it's not a stage of my life i'd wish to go back to

i live in a country where it is generally accepted that people are gay though so obviously i cannot speak to other people's circumstances

absolutely not. I respect everyone's coming out journey is different, and maybe I'd change my tune if I fell for someone who was closeted, but its impossible to image honestly.

NEVER! Once they are out of the closet they will probably want to sex everyone. And we can't judge them.

I'm the closeted one, and I wouldn't date me :clack:

Spoiler

That closet is glass tho, and I guess once I get into something serious my inner circle wouldn't mind if I tell them, but for now I don't see any reason to come out. I don't want to go through the jokes of being openly bi AND single yet s:wan:

Never in a million years I don't hate myself that much

This is something you do once for character development, and then never again

I tried. It was difficult tho. There was way much baggage and insecurities involved. He was very hesitant about being seen in public with me. His family was also very strict Muslims so it felt like he was never going to come out in fear of what they'll think. It's sad. I still keep in touch as a fried, but I'm not walking on eggshells with him.

No, especially because many of those DL men can be violent because of their insecurities.

I don't have time for it.

Νο. Never.

Remember that no one's closer will break for you.

Yes, I went on a date with an openly british lil' cigarette and never again

I only date closeted gays now because they don't behave like attention seekers in public
