Her best pure pop album is Midnights. Followed by Rep, then 1989. Lover is garbage other than Cruel Summer & False God.

 

BUT

 

RED is THEE quintessential Taylor album. It is her best and most well rounded body of work.

Sometimes I really wonder what a Katy/Taylor song would sound like... I just can't imagine their vocal styles meshing well. What do you guys think? I bet it was a long sigh of relief when Katy wasn't on Lover.

They would sound cute on a pop-rock'd vault track on Speak Now in the vein of OOTB and Better Than Revenge/Haunted. They sound rough here  but they've both improved so they'd sound good together on a track today I think

reputation is great, but the writing does not have the level of precision and detail we've come to expect

It's so funny to me how the Puta stans would call it "experimental", specifically under reaction videos on YouTube , when it's her most trend chasing album and the Max Martin tracks sound so dated, like something Gaga would do in 2011. And there is really nothing to get about it. It's a good album just as any other album Taylor's done and I personally enjoy it just as much as I enjoy her entire discography, but it is weighed down by some very questionable sonic and lyrical choices that prevents it from being this ~experimental masterpiece its hostile and loud stans claim it to be: 

Ready For It and End game are just plain trash, no buts and ifs about it.

IDSB is a good song but the production is grating.

Gorgeous sounds just as much as a jingle/ free to use YouTube background music as Stay×3.

So it goes is just forgettable filler no matter what the stans try to claim.

King of My Heart is a good song but the dated production prevents it from truly being a top tier pop song.

Midnights remains her best pop album to anyone with taste and common, unbiased sense.
