As someone who enjoyed Mayhem - it's not real competition. Brat didn't win and it was *everywhere* last year, why would Mayhem? 

It was nice to revisit 1989's reclaimed version over the weekend; I wish Taylor brings back the original polaroids whenever she reissues OG 1989 since I wasn't able to collect them in 2014!

I really liked the one with Taylor smiling, so much so that I made it an alternate cover

I remember being obsessed with 1989 and saved a ton of alternative covers like that.

bringing back the OG polaroids would be very cute actually, it would give a chance for the new swifties (and those that didn't get the chance back then) to collect them all 

This might be a bit of an obscure request but I really need her to release the original line of 1989 Polaroids digitally. I'd love to see them outside of just scans made by fans.

This has always been my fave 1989 Polaroid and I kinda wish it was the Style single cover instead of what they chose. It matches the vibes perfectly.

Well she won't be competing with Gaga or Kendrick if she releases TS12 in Oct/Nov, cos then it'll be eligible for the 2027 GRAMMYs

It's one of those that you can tell will be posted on whatever form of social media exists 30 years from now with the caption "Taylor Swift, Max Martin and Shellback creating the song 'Style' (circa 2014)". Similar to how people do with Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Michael Jackson, etc.

It'll always be an amazing pop record idc, it's top 3 for ME!

 

Every reactor I've seen/friend I've showed it to have all said it's Taylors coolest album and I have to agrih! It's like a joint wrapped up in music  

It's just so chill, sonically cohesive and did such a good job at integrating the lyrics coming from the folkmore era to more pop again

 

I was never part of those swifties that were complaining and crying that she won aoty for this

all these people are billionaires so I'm not going to "feel bad" and act like she didn't deserve it when in fact, she did! Sorry! 

 

Random, but were there any hints she was going to announce Midnights at the VMAs? Actual hints, not meth math
