Yes, the song (and title) is a play on the phrase "creatures of habit". Instead of simply saying humans are creatures of habit, it draws attention to the strange, instinctive behaviors that creatures exhibit. And that matters for the song because it makes human romantic behavior feel animalistic and instinctual. Attraction, repetition, attachment, jealousy, desire, etc. become "habits" that creatures develop and repeat.

I knew the songs had something similar but wow, same BPM and camelot key!

Is it just me or does Pink Clouding have a similar vibe to Soft from Carly's recent album? Might play around with a Spotify transition or see what AutoMix cooks up on AM lol

Since it's more or less a been week since release, if I had to pick one Best and "Worst" song on each side it would probably be these songs: DAY Best: Something Tragic Worst: Burning Heart NIGHT Best: Yes Worst: No Labels, I Love You Nonetheless, this album is so vivid and sophisticated both lyrically and instrumental-wise!

This is my first proper entry to Tinashe, and so far I'm really vibing with these songs!

I was willing to compromise with mp3 files as long as they were 320kbps, but, the whole standard album is in 192kbps while Yes is randomly 160kbps. That and also having the embedded album cover be at 3000px for each file which is overkill imo

I don't think it's the Japanese bonus tracks since it would render the exclusivity pointless if she was gonna release them worldwide so soon. Maybe "16 and Rising" and "Baby Blue Bentley"? Could also be the Danny L Harle, AG Cook, and Magdalena Bay sessions that didn't make the cut, alongside the ones that weren't mixed in time for the album submisson deadline.

Someone got the handwritten note from one of the signed copies in Amoeba Hollywood LA. The note says: "Hello Love, More 🎵🎶 To be continued… Oct. 9th — Carly Rae" Either the companion project or tour announcement.

Knowing her, we'll be waiting 5 years and even then it's not a guarantee unless we relentlessly bully her in the IG comments

Just heard the japan bonus track for 'Night' (titled Yes) and it's a lowkey bop! Pretty much dethrones my favorite on the standard (Patience, Power, Passion)

That genuinely shocked me, I figured they'd hate D&N especially after reading their review for The Loveliest Time
