I have at least 5 posts bashing the cover in this thread but after playing the songs on Apple Music and actually seeing it as a cover - you knowwwww, I think she might be on to something 

 

ok just saw the cover for the first time

 

for a split second I was like WTF  

 

but then I appreciated its campiness and honestly… I get it. it's clearly an inspiration of those older MPG covers you would see in the 2000's/early 2010's, as another user has pointed out. is it visually pleasing? hell to the ******* NO! but it's funny, quirky and different

i love the cover, it's serving modern Blackout

the cover will be looked back as iconic judging by the discussion it's already generated on social media

you know what I didn't get the cover the first time I saw it but it's actually high camp, or so I've convinced myself
