The cover was a missed opportunity to emulate the prayer's hand pose a la Björk's Debut or BOMT but it certainly has its charm.

Literally, when I saw the cover I thought it looked cute and after reading the thread I understood all of you's viewpoints and my main takeaway is still this:

Ever since the Diet Pepsi MV, the aesthetics might be immaculate but she still has this playful persona that makes a contrast with the polished looks and sounds. I think it fits even if it's not the most aesthetic thing ever as an album cover, or even if it doesn't match the vibes of the singles we have so far. I just feel this playful/tacky-on-purpose persona is her whole shtick/thing (at least for now) and I'm here for it ngl.

I feel like her aesthetic can best be described as sort of tastefully tacky. Like she does something that would be cheap if someone else did it but her vision is clear and direct that what she's doing makes sense.
