Miley might be my favorite artist at the moment tbh. She's so versatile, her personality is to die for, she's always VERY authentic and none of that pretentious **** that other female popstars do, and

Walk of Fame is really Liberty Walk 2.0 :weeps:

The nostalgia :weeps:

Love the outro and length, makes it feel so cinematic and epic.

SO, I absolutely ADORE the Golden Burning Sun demo and I'll always go to war for it (I still think she should include it as a Pt.2 on the deluxe ahfjshd) and I didn't feel the album version on first listen BUT

B!

U!

T!

I'm on second album run now and ahfjshdjdj I'm already loving it a lot more :deadbanana2: I also felt Walk of Fame a lot more when i heard it for the second time as the Edit after my first album listen. The hooks and melodies of this album really will only get you COMPLETELY on a second or third listen but will absolutely GET YOU by then, huh? Oh this will definitely be an album her fanbase will be talking about and dissecting for years I feel. Truly Dead Petz' sister in a way.

The Dead Petz-ness of Pretend You're God UGHHH

Why does the entire album just feel like more improved and realised versions of her older albums nn?

It also seems referential to a sound of different decade (Walk of Fame, Every Girl You've Ever Loved) but still current and very MILEY. Too early to say it's her magnum opus, this album feels like the most Miley than any other imo :heart2:

DO YOU STILL LOVE ME?

I GOTTA KNOW

NEVERMIND

JUST KEEP IT QUIET

IF YOU DON'T

I love the first 3 minutes of EGYEL, the saxophones are beautiful!

Golden Burning Sun, Walk of Fame, Every Girl You've Ever Loved and Reborn are great. Not feeling the rest, sadly. I wish the album was more like those songs in the long run.

The way I'm absolutely and utterly blown away on second listen shdhsjdj had to replay EGYEL three times in a row because the outro is pure CRACK

Also i talked about Björk earlier and nnnnnn @ the final version of Give Me Love being something straight up off Björk's Utopia (if Utopia had any sense for melodies :skull:)

Easy Lover being easily the weakest song on here while still being extremely catchy :deadbanana2:

No literally, I've been tempted more than once to come in here and call it my skip but here I am like six hours later still mumbling the chorus to myself :deadbanana4:

I thought it was a really strong album on first listen. You either get it or you don't........!!! It flows really nice, but definitely gets better as it goes on.

Walk of Fame is the obvious highlight, and Every Girl You've Ever Loved. More to Lose just gets better on every listen.

This isn't as good as her last album. Solid effort but a miss for me. Truly happy the Miley fans are digging it!

Walk of Fame

Pretend You're God

Reborn is definitely my top track!!!!!!
