Do y'all think Columbia is going to have some sort of deal with a streaming service for the visuals or they are just going to put it on YouTube and call it a day?

i was at work so i missed the signed vinyl+cd but i saw a few people were getting their orders refunded anyways

We might get Disney+ again since she seems to have a good relationship with them right now. If not, then I hope it's a big one like Netflix.

miley has been on a run since She is Coming, let's hope she keeps it up 

If there's any streaming deals going on, Disney+ gets her the best publicity (anything Disney related with her is free articles/clicks), but Netflix has a wider reach.

 

To be honest though, music video short films/movies don't tend to be cared about. Beyoncé's film fizzled out quick and even Taylor's (while record breaking) was pretty much done after 3 weeks.

 

Miley's fanbase is very small/non existent so it's best make things as easily accessible as possible (so uploading to YouTube after whatever premiere format they use).

 

She needs a lead single though and I strongly doubt they would give her both creative and marketing freedom to push an album alone.

she actually spilled the tea @ her Harper's Bazaar interview! here's what we know about the album so far

 

- She wanted the album to feel like a specific runway show (Mugler, to be exact hence why she's wearing a Mugler piece on the album cover).
- Mandy (2018 horror movie) is also a reference to this album. It's one of Miley's all-time favorite films ever.
- She reached out to Panos Cosmatos (director of Mandy) for the project. He's involved with the visuals. There will be a visual/film that accompanies the album.
- Cosmatos says the album is "more experimental than anything Miley's ever done, but in a pop way that i love".
- Miley describes the vibe as "hypnotizing and glamorous," adding, "It's a concept album that's an attempt to medicate somewhat of a sick culture through music."
- About the visuals/album, Miley says: "My idea was making The Wall (Pink Floyd), but with a better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture."

It's so heartwarming to me the fact that she unveiled the cover and more info about the album on Hannahversary

A lot of bad and wrong takes on ESV in here. You'll never make me hate an album with River, Jaded, Violet Chemistry, Island and Thousand Miles on it

hmm if it's an actual film I hope she releases it in theaters too even if it's only for one night

now why is everyone asking for her to do a new this song or new that song when we all know miley always brings something new to the table and thats what we love her for...
