They know. They are being dramatic. Doja has GP support. She doesn't have a huge fanbase that mass buys and then abandons...unless you are a swiftie.

 

She has radio, eventual playlisting, award slots and GP adoration on her side.

I like the song but I would've liked it more with a longer, harder hitting rap verse

 

I'm here for both rap doja and pop doja, but it is a slightly jarring jump from her being so anti pop and full rap to now having a rap verse shorter than the one in say so, a pure pop song

I know, I'm saying I liked scarlet and rap doja so for her to go from that and hating on her pop songs and her kittens during that era for a few years, it's jarring now like I said to go from that to now rap is practically not there at all whereas in say so even that had more of a rap verse

 

It gives me miley vibes of rejecting the prior era entirely, scarlet rejecting planet her, now she's rejecting scarlet, which is great for maintaining a fanbase just ask miss miley
