  1. I am so sad and yet so inspired. A real role model to so many of us. Coat of Many Colours, Hard Candy Christmas (my favourite Christmas song), and Sweet Summer Lovin' are some of the songs I cherish the most in my life. I always thought Coat of Many Colours is right there among the best songs ever written. She was one of a kind. One of seemingly very few people in the public eye who was a true Christian, who embodied what Jesus preached in the New Testament. Thank you for never forgetting where you came from. Rest in peace, you'll be tremendously missed.
  2. Yes yes me too!! And I'm dreaming about us FINALLY getting to hear Reach for the Sky (aka Hero's little sister) next year with the Charmbracelet anniversary (along with one of my favs – There Goes My Heart). Shaking just thinking about it.
  3. This. Anyway, I am kinda annoyed that they're basically ruining AIWFCIY with all the promotion/focus on it since 2020. It's a classic and I love it, but let us breathe. Also, she's got other songs just waiting to be rediscovered and loved by the GP, including other Christmas classics. (Also she needs to give us her version of WAYC?, I'm not buying the "lost the demo" story... )
  4. Constant Companion, Everlasting Love, To Be Free, Love Is A Stillness, and When He's Gone Constant Companion is undoubtedly the best song on here. Should've be the first single, heavily promoted, and it would've become a hit! The album however is too acoustic, the production is too sparse. It works for some songs, but overall the album lacks proper punch. They could've easily switched it up a bit more on the three "uptempo" songs. I'm annoyed. Anyway: The Thrill of It All [classic] > In the Lonely Hour = Love Goes = Gloria [Unholy is still awful, but there are multiple proper highs on this one!] > Hazel Eyes Overall, they have a pretty strong discography and we'll always be supporting a singer.
  5. This is obviously not true since Survivor has Emotion (their absolute best song), Survivor, Brown Eyes, Dangerously in Love, Independent Woman.
  6. The best of the three. She should've worked with Emeli Sandé, not Sia.
  7. Yes, yes, yes, we need the title track! Pleaseee I kinda resent when the title track gets omitted from the final tracklist.
  8. Thank you! This is the minimum I'll take.
  9. Videostar is alive and kicking. I don't even know why I'm so impressed considering that Troy's been serving with his videography since at least 2018. The song's good as well. Bravo!
  10. Love this song. Great choice.
  11. OMG yes!!! This and Desperate Housewives – but above all this – was MY show! Desperate for a revival!
  12. I love this song – and I mean their version above all – so much it hurts. Oh how bittersweet the sound...
  13. He gave the world one of my all-time favourite songs. He'll be missed tremendously in this house. Rest in peace, contemporary genius. Time stood still, indeed.
  14. The should've made the original a single in July, but instead we get this.
  15. I don't like it. :/ Love the original. Love Kylie (she sounds better than M on here), but the remix, the production, everything is so subpar. Where's the euphoria of the original??? Probably the worst release of the era for me.
  16. The people in here writing RIP although this hasn't been confirmed, please stop I sincerely hope this is not true. He's one of few actual geniuses of contemporary music. I mean Ray of Light alone is one of the best albums of all time. And this is not just me saying this.
  17. The best of the so-far released songs (I'm not counting To Be Free, which is by far the best, cause we'e getting a new version) and the only one that clicked with me on the first listen. Oh and I now now what Oh Mother reminds me of! Leona Lewis' Fire Under My Feet, mainly in a sense that it's the one song from the I Am album that didn't instantly clicked with me.
  18. I really like Sam Fender and Olivia's got some nice songs too, but how this utterly insipid song ended up being so successful is beyond me.
  19. Grace Jones for MSAMS, yes! Now that would be
  20. So unexpected, but I really love this.
  21. Real Woman is fan-freakin'-tastic! An ode to Cheryl Lynn's Got to Be Real and Donna Summer. Perfect balance of disco and latin flavour. I find it hard to make a top 3 with this album, but it's definitely among my favourites. Btw, Heaven's What I Feel was originally supposed to be on Celine's Let's Talk About Love. The beginning sounds so much like it belongs on there. Anyway, I loved the entire era, the colour palette etc. Probably my favourite album of hers.
  22. Yes, yes, yes! I also listened to it just yesterday for the first time in maybe more than 10 years. What are the odds... Still a fabulous album after all those years. Don't Let This Moment End was an absolute favourite of mine always. What an ode to the 1990s dance music. Whew. Also that flow into Touched By an Angel
  23. Danceteria sounds SO fresh (well everything does ofc). What a wasted opportunity. I secretly still hope they push it and we get a proper video.
