I actually love this the sample works well for me. The video is very different from anything she's done so far as well !

I loved the homage nods in the video, whilst still making it her own. 

This video is something new for her and she ate that. Honestly the song is a bop. I wonder if Britney likes it too lmao. 

I hate it when artist use such iconic songs. If you use it manipulate heavily.

 

However strangely it works eventhough it's a integral part of the song. 

 

 

Hmmm... I don't like that it incorporates the entire chorus of Toxic. I was really into the first half of the hook where it's just "with a taste" and then Coco's own melody, that really worked. But then the whole original chorus plays and it instantly makes the song derivative. They could have used one or two lines from the original and blend them in with new lines to freshen it up. LOVE the music video! Very sexy I hpe this is a hit for her I acually like it way more than the snippet. 

I enjoyed it somewhat. But I am not a fan of just using the entire chorus of a song as your chorus. I feel it could've worked more if she had kept it with the "just a taste" or if she had sampled just the actual instrumental.

 

Sampling is cool, but only when you do something to modify the original song. I honestly kind of left this song saying I just want to listen to Toxic

BOT: I like Taste but sampling the whole chorus seems lazy and uninspired. It would've been better if they sampled the violins.
