I can't believe that garbage of a song made it to the album.

 

BOT: I like Taste but sampling the whole chorus seems lazy and uninspired. It would've been better if they sampled the violins.

 

Well the album already has a skip on it. This should've been scrapped with Sweep It Up bc why is a whole Future song on your debut? 

 

Back OT: Taste is really good, it's no ICU or even HWG but I like she's trying something new and broadening her sound.

The sample should've just been limited to the "with a taste" bits in the prechorus. Sampling the full chorus for the chorus feels kinda lazy. Cute song. None of the tracks this era have matched anything on the EP for me yet. Still anticipating the album tho

i totally agree, sounds like drunk karaoke

 

verses are so good. i think it had potential but stayed basic

I'm late on discussing this song…but yeah, they should've pitched up the vocal sample or just had Coco resing it.  
 

 

She performed a few songs on The Terrell Show 

 

 

 

I absolutely LOVE this live version of Taste as well . I think I might like even more than the studio version , she sounds so good !
