I typically like a silent ride :jonny: I of course speak when I first get into the car and bye when I leave or if they try to have a conversation with me, but most of the type I don't initiate a conversation when I enter the car unless i'm drunk lmao

I'm kind of the same, I'll greet them but try to stay silent through the ride. I'll only chat if they initiate conversation.

when im drunk yeah, I even sucked one off once and he still charged me the fare :rip: I thought he'd at least cancel

I'm chatty. I will ask things like:

"When did your shift start today?"

"What time does it finish?"

"What part of town are you from?"

"Do you know this area well?"

Sometimes my chatty nature can lead to experiences that lead to non monetary forms of payment for the ride.

Hell no, i hate small talk. I only say "hello" and "thank you, have a great day"

I prefer not to but I usually end up yapping with them to be polite. :gaycat3:

i usually have airpods in, i'll speak if spoken to but probably won't initiate anything...

I rather not, but when I do I lie about my life and career.

It depends on the vibe. If they are chatty, then yes. Otherwise, not really. The other way on my way to Aldi, I had a conversation with a fellow Swiftie. His license plate was legitimately "T 5WIFT" and he had "(taylor's version)" and "Nothing good starts in a getaway car" bumper stickers.

Let's be honest, if he's hot there is always the chance they will accept oral sex in place of a fare.

Yeah. It's usually pretty boring since it's just small talk

But I have had some interesting conversations. One guy told me about how he quit coke, another one was in a middle of crisis because it was his birthday but he was working because he didn't want to see his family because he was suicidal that day and a lot drivers that just stayed with me talking me after we arrived destination (idk if they were trying to hit on me or they 're just lonely).

One that was weird/ funny was this guy that I used to like when I was young like 15 years ago and the guy was talking about a lot of personal stuff so I thought he remembered me. So I started talking about friends we have in common and he acted like it wasn't him which is super dumb because his name was on the app. :rip:

Only if it's a woman or if they start the conversation. I usually just sit in the back minding my own business.

not really, but there were a couple of times when drivers were acting creepy towards me, like giving weird compliments and  asking personal questions :pancake:

I try to match their energy a bit. If they are talking to me I'll engage. If they don't say much I'm mostly silent.

Sometimes I just tend to act so friendly & bubbly :dancehall: and they always tend to be super polite back

But if they don't talk back I won't push it but sometimes they talk. Its always the oh my God you live that far away and im like yep only come into Melbourne for concerts and they tend to find that interesting :dies:

I say hello and thank you have good day and that's pretty it. I'm not paying for small talk, I'm paying for a quick ride, unless the driver is chill then I can talk more but it's rare

That's me exactly

No but it bit me in the ass like a month ago. So this hot Uber driver picked me up late at night and he was checking me out through the rear mirror and I was also checking him out but nothing happened due to neither of us making any move :sadviolin:
