Airport fashion has been a thing as long as airports have existed. The airport fashion trend in kpop was started by GD. I tried finding receipts of Rain's pre-GD airport fashion and failed but even that search brought up a dozen sources claiming GD made it a thing.

SNSD actually invented the airport

Sakura and Kazuha are very far from being vocalists btw... Kazuha does the splits and Sakura is Sakura. Let's appreciate people for their strengths here.

The only issue i have with Sakura is that she let these damn trolls get to ha and her confidence is in below 0. I want her to understand that she is the QRI of this gen and start serving looks and *****!

The problem here is cost and time. While it's more fun for the fans, it's too expensive and way too hard on the idols to make every single song a single.

I will never understand how YG and ADOR do it, but you'll notice that the artists who do it have very, very few releases (NJ, BlackPink, 2NE1, etc.) and their companies seem to struggle with finances even when the artists are absolutely massive.

you made points

Circle is literally the best chart globally and the most fair. It weeds out fraud in a way no other chart does.

Dreams Come True and Up aren't title tracks. Aespa's title tracks are Black Mamba, Next Level, Savage, Girls, Spicy, Drama, Supernova, Armageddon and Whiplash (in that order).

Hurt had a ton of promotion so it's not like it was some random B-side, either. I don't understand your criteria for what you want to consider a B-side. If you're just excluding title tracks, it counts, but if you're excluding digital singles, NewJeans don't even have any B-sides.

It's not. It was a literal B-side on the "OMG" single.

however circle is not a popularity charts. it's a revenue charts. nobody in korea checks for it because it does not reflect what's popular. the points are literally money!! it literally counts ringtones hello??

She does serve looks and ***** when the concept matches it

HOT is just not one of such songs and concepts

Speaking of airport fashion Keigo has been carrying it for a while now

All the Jessica fans clamouring about sexism and not discrediting her while blatantly discrediting 2NE1. CL was tapped into the international fashion scene before Jessica... let's not.

But Circle is really, really good about weeding out fraud. Look at PLAVE. If you followed Melon, you would think they were the top group and a bigger digital powerhouse than IU. Circle removes mass group streaming which individual platforms like Melon do not. It's a pivotal tool in exposing fraud on domestic platforms. PLAVE have five songs this year that are outperforming Supernova on Melon thanks to fanbase fueled streaming, yet Circle doesn't even have one of their songs in the yearly Top 20 yet. It's the most reliable chart.

And ringtones may help a group get a cute one week peak (see: NCT), but they don't help in the end at all. It's why NCT's #1 singles drop like a rock and disappear whereas actually popular songs last forever.

That would be because most Internet links and sites from yesteryear are gone, sis. Rain was literally famous for the commotions he would cause at airports. Like it was his signature and weird fans would post **** like this all of the time:

I'm not downplaying GD, but he didn't start airport fashion and crazes. I think it's fair to say he was one of the earliest to really go popular with it, though. And he definitely helped monetize the trend.

GD is the goat. Fake dating rumors don't make him a creep.

The goat of what? He's getting dragged left and right for his shitty vocals and weird dance movements. He has had no artistic growth since maybe 2012. And he is a creep for preying on young female idols all the time causing them to get hate. I'm happy newer fans don't check for his animal abusing ass. All he has done his entire career is rip off of whatever a black american artist did a couple years prior and push it as new to Korea. He's a fraud.
