"The Chase" and "I Do Me" are cute and the songs are good, but i don't see much personality on either of them, hope the next releases are more interesting.

 

 

Wish those were actual MVs, the visuals are on point.

Been absolutely obsessed with both The Chase and Butterflies the whole day  

H2H... they left me with no choice but to stan

The Chase is really giving 2011 SNSD/f(x) timeless quality. Chris Lee's SM really grew another Karina in the lab with Ian  Ye-On and Carmen are the other 2 standouts.

 

 

I feel like SM is atoning for all their missed golden years with H2H. aespa's concept is too limiting, and they've given up on RV.The Chase is really giving that old school SM greatness. What a breath of fresh AIR. The chorus is giving spoken word poetry, but make it c*nt.

where YG is still forcing Ahyeon to scream the bridge to every song babymonster has, SM is confident enough to release a total lowkey BOP without desperately trying to prove to the world that their singers can sing.

The Chase is genuinely great, I was actually so afraid it was gonna be NJZ-lite garbage but SM gave them f(x)/RV crumbs instead which I can absolutely get behind. Lineup is nonsense though, they fully could've chopped off the three youngest members. Or Jiwoo, and leave Ian instead cause at least she's got the visual thing going on. It sounds like Carmen, Yuha, and Stella are the singers (I refuse to acknowledge The Child) which is not a great ratio for an 8 member group but I guess we'll see.

Giving a 15 years old the title of main vocalist is very risky. There was a group like that in the past and when the member grew, the ability to hit a certain note was not possible anymore and ended up damaging their vocals chords more than anything.
