NINGNING is sick, but she has been appearing on stage but skipping all the red carpets/attendances to rest.

Personally I think SM just saw it as a convenient opportunity to not let her appear. There has been a lot of pressure on their NHK appearance against NINGNING in particular and it has caused some damage to aespa's image in Japan due to politicization (even if the whole "scandal" against them is performative and dumb in the first place)

Edit: It's not only Hyunjin case coming back but almost all idols case (as usual Pannchoa decided to pushes only one case) as 300 school violences cases were rejected by the court, this year alone, saying it useless to report the crimes anyway.

Danielle is their best performer. They simply would be missing too much as a 4 member group. I have a feeling they're only doing this to delay NJ promotions due to "legal issues with Danielle" and shelve them indefinitely

Pretty much every group I've ever loved has had their career ruined/cut short by a label or had a member bullied by the hypocritical public to literal death.

Only thing I can take solace in is that at least red velvet got to experience their career peak years even if SM wasn't great to them either. At least we have perfect velvet

I never really involved myself with the kpop fandom culture just the music of the groups I liked, and I'm glad I was that way until 2024. The past two years have made me realize that many K-pop stans (outside of ATRL) are actually evil and spineless individuals who fetishize Asians as dolls to bend to their will, and give zero fucks about them as people outside of their fantasies. Really sick people
