Yes but Golden is literally blocking Rich Man from #1 and PAKs at this point.

 

In the latest Melon update, Golden and Rich Man are way ahead of everyone else

Yeah, "Dirty Work" had "Whiplash's" amazing reception. If it had good playlisting, it would have easily been a 3M+ debut. The longevity is bad outside of South Korea, which surprises me because I expected the exact opposite.

#1 would be awesome but Aespa don't have a lot of #1s so I'm not bothered by that. I'd rather see the song show insane longevity in the top 10. They are one of the longest running acts in the top 10 ever.

 

My next concern is overall Melon streams. They're about 170M away from taking first place for 4th Gen.

Well they have quite a few Melon #1s, but Circle #1s of course only 1. SM seems to have terrible timing when it comes to other viral hits randomly blocking them. 

 

It's annoying, since Golden is showing signs of decline. Another week of promo for Rich Man might've put them in a good position to take over #1. 

 

But I believe Rich Man could have a similar longevity to Dirty Work (which is also still reaching top 10 after several months) anyway. However the much shorter promo cycle might impact that a little.

Yeah, "Rich Man" is in an excellent spot and could be a megasmash. They do have the TMA Awards, a dance practice video, a video-filming BTS and Music Countdown on Thursday. Hopefully we get a Relay Dance, too.

 

Their YouTube numbers are really good right now.

And they're about to get another Daesang. They have just blocked Stray Kids, TXT and G-Dragon with "Rich Man." They just need to keep going and they'll block SVT and Rose, too!
