There's a lot of twitter speculation of Manon leaving the group based on her recent attitude, how the girls act, and how hybe runs their socials. I blame this flop beautiful chaos era which made their brand worse lbr it's a hot corny mess and they looked/sounded way better last year. Gnarly was a short term shock value gag that ultimately made them kitschy, a bangerz tea. The Latin market pandering couldn't be more obvious at the expense of their sonic identity. They're making Megan uglier by the era (DA finale was peak) and pushing Daniela too hard.

Katseye has no direction at the moment, but whatever they're doing now is infinitely better than toddler tunes like Touch. Its tiktok catchy sure but they arent getting a fanbase from songs like Touch

 

I haven't watched this in years and I'm slayed all over again  the styling, drama and VOCALS  

 

Seeing Narsha flick her mane again reminded me why I'm gay

The thing is Manon doesn't strike me as someone who would try to become a solo singer if she left the group. So if she leaves the group she'll probably just do the influencer thing, make bag that way.  She'd do fine in that arena and would probably enjoy not being in the entertainment rat race.

You made a few hurtful points here. Megan isn't ugly, they've experimented a lot with her image, yes but comments like that aren't constructive and are just downright hurtful. 
 

I don't understand why it's so hard for people to understand that Gnarly and Gabriela both had a purpose. These songs were choreographed in such a way, to capture attention. Gnarly gave them a viral dance moment on TikTok and increased their exposure massively and Gabriela has also become a viral dance moment with their visuals all trending worldwide for multiple days and has been doing well on Spotify. 
 

I think sadly what is causing the divide behind Katseye is the fans. Manon, Lara and Sophia all have extremely loud solo bases.
 

There's videos going viral saying that Katseye are excluding Manon because she wasn't in the Gabriela performance video (she had an injury) and saying that it was unfair treatment. A new video popped up on TikTok with Manon stans saying Manon didn't get to talk about her MH doll and it was erasure when actually Manon has been quiet ever since she had her lips done because her stans were attacking her   

 

Sophia stans are saying she's being erased and that she's invisible in the newer videos, songs and interviews and that as "leader" she should always be front and center. Lara was barely visible in the MH video causing her fans to cry because she's "main vocalist". You can't win either way. 
 

Daniela and Manon have been pushed heavily this era with Dani getting all the exposure and Manon getting the best outfits, visuals and both have a lot of solos. If we do get a OT6 EP3 I can imagine Manon will have less lines (so Megan, Yoonchae and Sophia can have a moment) and then her fans are going to be so loud again. I genuinely think they can't win

Yeah she can go to the influencer route but she will loose fans in the long run, bc people will get bored.
Maybe she will try acting idk.

And again.. the purpose of Beautiful Chaos singles being short term attention grabbers at the expense of overall brand confidence.

The way HybexGeffen will handle all this bad buzz will be important. Hopefully they work on making sure none of these girls is feeling left out and doesn't act like Epic and Sony did with 5H. Otherwise I don't see this group staying together after 2030
