Def Sabrina, not just musically but culturally too 

Short N Sweet but it's also HER moment, the way Billie had hers in 2019. HMHAS is a huge project and is a huge musical, commercial, and cultural success that further demonstrates that Billie is here to stay. It doesn't need to be as big to be successful.

They're both doing AMAZING. I would say Short N Sweet is the bigger era, while Hit Me Hard And Soft is the bigger album.

Sabrina takes this. But SNS is her peak and HMHAS is Billie's third-biggest era.

Both are smashing, but HMHAS' longevity is crazy doing nearly 20M daily streams nearly 6 months in. It's bigger globally as well. But as a whole, this is Sabrina's big moment vs. an already established big artist so I'd give it to Sabrina.

 

As for the long run part, we'll see in two years . HTE (song) was getting better daily streams than Olivia's smashes at one point but that also could be from overexposure (same reason why bad guy or 7 Rings' recurrent streams were lower than other singles off those albums at some point). Espresso and BOAF are kinda neck and neck when it comes to biggest songs of 2024 but she also has PPP/Taste while Billie has another hit brewing with Wildflower. Both have viral album tracks too. Hard to say.

sabrina has the bigger era, billie has the better album.

I would say Sabrina has the biggest era, mainly because of having HUGE singles prior to the album release, whereas Billie had no singles. Sabrina is also at her peak right now, which makes it feel all the more fabulous.

 

On the other side, Billie's HMHAS is smashing quietly. It's still doing almost 20M daily streams 5 months after its release, yet it still doesn't feel… super impressive? It's as if we're used to Billie's smashing so these huge numbers don't do much for us anymore

Sabrina is in her peak era with two huge hits and Taste to become her new massive hit Also her album has 12 songs and her album was released like 7 weeks ago 

 

Billie is an established artist with no singles prior to the album. Low budget music videos and no promo almost. Her album was released 5 Months ago and has 10 songs. BOAF is huge. Lunch and Chihiro did not do much because they were a surprise release along with the album. 
 

SnS is a huge era with massive hits and promotion exposure behind it

 

HAMAS  is one of those album that time will tell how big the era is going to be but seems like it is here to stay.

Short n Sweet feels bigger because it's a mainstream breakthrough.

 

HMHAS feels like more of the same, and I mean that as a compliment because everything she does is excellent.

 

Sabrina is establishing herself in the eyes of the wider GP, whereas Billie is already known by everyone.

Half a year later and it very much ended the opposite

 

Very much identical streams, SnS bigger pure sales (bigger album both things considered) but HMHAS tour is much bigger (projected nearly $300m and $140m for Sabrina) and has the biggest hit of the two

SNS is only bigger in US and UK. Hence, Hit me has bigger stream WW

SNS is bigger in North America, Oceania and UK/Ireland. HMHAS is bigger in continental Europe and South America. Neither particularly big in Asia but HMHAS did less bad there.

 

Sabrina has a big lead over her in UK, Billie has a big lead over her in Germany, France and Brazil. Elsewhere else they're very close.
