i used to miss her golden years back in 2021. But she's really not a smart businesswoman. This was supposed to be her comeback, and she released two of her worst songs ever. It is almost impossible to

NO

Must be embarrassing being outstreamed by the woman she and her team clearly thought nobody cared about anymore.

Karma is not a liar, she keeps receipts :)

she'll be fine lol. she'll always stay somewhat relevant thanks to teenage dream era

no. she's a known mean girl in the industry and now karma's come to get its kiss

Not really

It was super easy to get mid hit era and she did everything wrong

No she knew exactly what she was doing and she got what she deserved

Nope. I've said it before but it ultimately doesn't even matter if Kesha's allegations against Luke are true or not, or whether Katy believes him to be innocent or not. Luke's reputation is in the gutter and the lawsuit was highly publicised, so going back to him for her new album was just plain dumb, given the circumstances. The fact that the songs suck is just the icing on the cake.

She's living an amazing life, rich, a daughter with a man who loves her. No, ma'am, she is living a dream :giraffe:

I do. She has certainly made some bad decisions (Dr. Luke, writing Woman's World as it is, etc), and she absolutely deserves backlash for that, but the amount of hatred that is coming at her and the way people keep piling on her, it's too much. It feels like people are just looking for reasons to hate on her now because it's easy.

We saw what happened to her mental health during the Witness era, we saw how heartbroken she was. Criticism where criticism is due, but people are being quite cruel to her.

I'm sad for her given how important the numbers are to her. If Witness put her into depression, I hate to think what she is going through privately right now. It takes strength to show up to interviews and perform live putting on a front though, and I'm sure she will put on a fun show at the VMA's

There's nothing to feel sorry about. She could have 50 flop eras more after this one and still thousands of people in the industry would kill to have the kind of career and legacy that she has had

You guys use words with important meaning too losely... Katy has zero legacy whatsoever, but she had a great run of hits and pop culture moments a decade ago indeed. Nothing to feel sorry about her I agree, she achieved a lot, is rich as p!ss and the late flops are very logical analysing her obvious missteps: you reap what you sow.

I feel really bad for her cause this a whole witch hunt and i wanted a comeback real bad but at the same time i dont cause she's really dumb with her career decisions

-Short album
-Niche Feminist lead single with no appeal at all
-Sexy but Cringe Video
-Awful album name : 143
-Was not able to get solid smashes from Dr Luke........then whats the point of working with him lol

She had two albums to learn from this. She's her worst enemy.
She digged her own grave :giraffe: people should stop throwin sand. Just leave the grave alone
But she will come back as a zombie in the next era ready to snatch some wigs :gaycat2:

Not really. She's releasing the music she wants to release and doing her "camp" thing that she loves. She had plenty of time grow as an artist, but chose not to.  :gaycat:

No.

She's still rich. Her career tanked, it's not really a personal tragedy, plus she kind of brought it on herself.

No, the material isn't good. I mean, if you want to go through the going back to Dr. Luke controversy, at least make sure he is going to give you a Say So or a SFG, this is a total mess :skull:
