You're right. It was Bloodpop after looking it back up. I still think it is possible and not hard to believe there was some cross influence between the producer. But of course I don't know, I was not in the production room.

All those thumbs down, too little thumbs will be playing the song. 

Also her vocals on that snippet sound weird, like they are filtered or something. It would have sounded better with more natural vocals. Still the song sounds very generic.

This song (and album rollout) remind me of what I have always thought would be Katy's problem - and that's artistic growth. There was no room for her to go after Teenager Dream imo - wish she came back with a different sound completely.
