Exactly. The Kelly Clarkson/Jennifer Hudson route would be best for Katy. She could fill the spot that Ellen left quite nicely. I actually think she would be a hoot to watch as a talk show host.

 

It might not be too late for her to do this. Once this album campaign is over that should be her next step.

She's already said an acoustic album is next. Then I think she'll probably disappear and release music sparingly. 

Maybe she can Dance with the Stars like Jamie Lynn Spears 

 

I'm confident she'll turn the era around. Gimme Gimme and Lifetimes sound promising.

Maybe she'll get a TikTok hit. I won't be streaming it but I'm done hating. She should just go back to Idol or something bc musically, people are not here for her.

When someone is on her shoes they should just keep releasing the music they like without trying to get anything from the GP.

It's so obvious she can do it too, Cry About It Later and Harleys In Hawaii are great pop tracks and she didn't need Dr Puke for them… Just get Max back I'm sure he was most of the magic for Teenage Dream (song) anyway.

Whats next seriously? She's a multimillionaire, has a super hot man, a beautiful family. She can do whatever she wants, but first release her next album!

I fear this era will affect any of her chances to come back as the popstar she used to be. It's crazy to think we went from Katy the biggest female artist of the 2010s to Katy failing to succeed in 2024. It's like exactly what happened Xtina minus the hate/backlash. She should go back to reinventing her image, stop being associated with Dr Luke, if she wants bubblegum pop, get Bonnie for a writing session and find some good producers. She should stick to TV/media appearances, occasional album drops with no massive promo or building hype and do some concerts every now and then, nothing massive like a world tour. I'm really scared her next world tour will flop and she'll end up cancelling dates.. but hopefully she proves us wrong.

 

that being said, let's wait for the album see what it has to offer in full and who knows maybe she has a few hits in her bag to save the era.
