Katy Perry - "bandaids"
This is perfect, the production is such a nod to her earlier work, but it's still fresh.

Spotify | Kesha's ".", Day 5: 1.797 million streams (unfiltered)
I feel like she's really happy this era especially after how 'sullen' GO was. Boy Crazy is still my top pick >>>

California Gurls and TUN go super viral for being bigger than Espresso. Agree?
Not you straight-up lying… In the biggest music markets, according to the IFPI, outside of the US (with available chart data) [CG vs A]: Australia - 1 vs 12 Canada - 1 vs 12 France - 5 vs 13 Germany - 3 vs 4 Italy - 3 vs 28 Japan - 10 vs 90 UK - 1 vs 3 As you can see both songs did NOT perform similarly outside the US. Abracadabra has a single no.1 excluding radio or genre charts in Lithuania (a nice little fun-fact for the monsters).

Should "pre-debut" albums count?
It depends: regarding Katy, Charli, and Lana - no, they were released on small labels/independently and not akin to their actual debut. Arguably, Selena too as she dropped "The Scene" and thus Stars Dance is her solo debut. Sabrina, however, yes - she released several albums, but I do understand her disconnect from them due to lack of creative control.
-
After her Tony win, what should Nicole Scherzinger do next?
She should either take on a brand new role in theatre - not a revival (so she has nothing to be compared to) or do some indie critic-chasing TV/Film work.

Sabrina Carpenter - 'Man's Best Friend'
I'm seated, I've only recently gotten into ha, but her new stuff reminds me of a modern-day hybrid of Shania (with her country-pop sensibilities), Madonna (her unabashed eroticism), and Katy (camp queen).

Bigger era? Future Nostalgia or Teenage Dream
Katy collected 6 no. 1s and 8 top 3s overall. TD a decade and a half later is still charting in several countries and all the singles are huge and well known.
