Obviously we can't predict the future and there is still time for it to catch on, but considering the context, this is currently bombing in an unprecedented way.

 

A month of hype to her 300,000,000+ Twitter and IG followers, global promo, paid-for TikTok posts, 150k+ likes and tens of millions of "views" on every Twitter post... and you're telling me she doesn't have 1,000 fans in the US dedicated enough to drop a buck fifty to make the song go #1 on the easiest chart to top (iTunes)? That is insane.

 

She needs to fire the person who suggested purchasing Twitter likes and views to give the illusion of demand because now it just looks a mess.

She really tried to pull off a Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and failed.

 

She should have started off with Gimme Gimme because of the rap feature which might have gotten more streams on Spotify.
