I don't know the hate that's going on around here but the snippets kinda sounds good. I know it's not the best but they're bops so…

Dr. R*pe sampling another dance song and putting trap beat over it.  Not only these sound dated but I bet a few are Kim's scraps from a couple of years ago that Dr. sold to Katy as something groundbreaking.

Katy definitely seems to be mimicking a more Beyoncé-like career shift right now, transitioning from radio friendly pop girl into a more sophisticated, acclaimed respected artist and performer. 143 will probably be her 4, underperforming singles left and right but she will solidify a touring fanbase and won't really flop even if it seems like a career lull.

The videos themselves are super cringe...

 

BUT I am so happy, that 2/3 songs sound great Nirvana should have been the lead it seems

 

Im his, he's mine sound just like Womans Words - Might be good, but the lyrics are so cringe, that you can't focus on enjoying the music 

These clips are all so disappointing. Hoping there's a diamond in the rough in a few of the album tracks - and this coming from a Katy fan of 17 years who has been to every tour. 

Gimme gimme sounds like a HIT oh my god. I've replayed that snippet so much… Nirvana is the sk*nky house I needed from her and IHHM has potential but I def need to hear more to consider it comparable to the other three songs we've heard. 

It's not that bad guys, let's not 

 

It's not the best she's ever done either, but the snippets are ok and sound fun. I actually think WW is the worst by far.

 

I think I'll LOVE Nirvana.

 

And watching her so happy and carefree, so natural, warmed my heart. I hope she's really happy, whatever the result will be.
