I appreciate Sabrina trying to show another side of her music, but the song was way more promising in the teaser.

 

The MV was great though, she has been delivering on that front.

It is giving buzz single though. The lyrics and her boyfriend in the video. That's the talking point the press will run with, not the song. So it'll serve its purpose in that sense.

It's not as instant as Espresso. It's a cute album track imo. I think she picked up that fast talk-singing style from working with Julia Michaels, I'm sorry but I find that really annoying, because you can't really sing along with that "melody". It's so bad when she made Skinny Dipping a single, because like if you want to flop - you release a song like that
