  1. Just saw it and no
  2. Data centers are needed for much more than AI. Netflix, Instagram, your favorite random website… if you have anything saved on the cloud you’re using a data center. And data centers pollute a lot less than all the highways they continue to build in Texas, so yeah the comparison is fair.
  3. This is a rural county with a median household income of $65k, it’s not exactly full of millionaires. And Texas doesn’t have state income tax, so that wouldn’t be possible anyway…
  4. Increased tax revenue and "winning" the AI race against China. The second point is whatever but kinda hard to argue against the first one... and pretty much anything on the internet requires data centers, so it's not like the demand for them will just stop if you stop building them.
  5. There should be a conversation about where data centers belong but I don't understand why people continue to bring up environmental concerns when flying, highways, and agriculture are much worse for the environment And those farms most likely wouldn't even exist without government subsidies while the data centers generate tax revenue for the county, so...
  6. People complaining about her doing arenas when literally just one date is an arena (that can be reduced in capacity)
  7. How many people want a power plant or wastewater treatment plant near their home? And 25 miles is not even close... I'm not a fan of AI but we've really gotten to the point where NIMBYs think they should be able to control everything.
  8. @kyliefever2002 update the OP pls x
  9. That politician was from Paraguay, not Bolivia. And why does someone need to be from the region to call out racism? Does that mean Latinos shouldn’t be able to say anything about the US, Europe, Asia, etc?
  10. Latin America has had right-wing dictators as well. Bukele is literally doing the same thing in El Salvador. Corruption is the real problem, it's not a left or right thing.
  11. If you click on the tweet you’ll see the original tweet with 22k likes and 1m+ views that can’t be posted because Twitter deemed it to be too racist. The only time I’ve ever seen “peruano/boliviano/mongólico de m*erda” in a tweet has been from an Argentinian. But there’s no problem according to you because they can study there for free… Argentinians can say “los yanquis” are racist and stupid all day long but play the victim as soon as someone says something about Argentina maybe actually acknowledge the problem instead of pretending it doesn’t exist.
  12. Is this person fake as well? And I can’t even post his original tweet because Twitter (of all places) deemed it to be too racist. How many excuses are you going to come up with?
  13. I'd prefer HTIMYLM going #1 because she would finally get another multi-week #1. The fact that 7/10 of her #1s just spent 1 week at #1 is not cute tbh
  14. Yeah, she’s definitely calling them friends here. Like…
  15. Comparing random fans to the national team The whataboutism doesn't stop.
