Well, that billion-dollar franchise that spawned music albums, concert tours and theatrical films happens to be part of Miley's career. If you want to ignore her early career that's fine, she will still end up having 4 (solo) diamond songs. Not everyone with a Disney Channel show has that!..

While Ariana feels more popular overall, Miley's career is much more impressive.

The Eternal Sunshine Spotify thread is filled with a dozen of Swifties having a circlejerk and trying to paint the genuinely good numbers of ES as an underperformance, but Arianators are still deflecting from that and obsessing over Miley vs. Ariana because of 3-4 trolls. Miley has a great career and had her huge moments but careerwise overall its Ariana. 

The fact that Ari’s album is doing well so far despite her homewrecking, the hate train against her, and her lead single tanking faster than the Titanic shows that she has a bigger pull.
