the set list was terrible, the camera man should’ve been fired and the special guests were sub par. the only great this about his performance were the garments and the skating segment

8-9. He's a classic showman and brings live vocals, dancing, energy and charisma. Revisiting all his hits was such a nostalgia trip back to simpler times (though I didn't love the setlist).

It was kind of lacklustre for me, as I didn't know some of the songs and RnB songs don't really hit the same way as pop songs do.

Alicia Off-Keys screaming with 0 vocal technique as usual certainly didn't help.

H.E.R kinda stole the show with that guitar, ngl.

However, Usher can sing. I'm very impressed that he sang 100% live with 0 backing vocals (and did it WELL). :clap3:

7. It was boring but at least he sung live and he danced his ass off.

He surprised me a lot. Last year I saw a bunch of tiktok about his live shows and how his performance skills have declined, so I wasn't expecting much. But the show was SO MUCH fun and just very hype and the moves flowed so well. I give him a 9!

It was a good show. Not one of the best, but I enjoyed it.

He's a great peformer.

5.

It should have had so much more energy and slicker production given the calibre of Usher's catalog.

5. It was very cheap and I couldn’t recognize most of the songs with how fast he was going through them. Also the special guests added nothing. Not surprised the YouTube numbers are so bad.

His energy was a 10 but the production brings the overall down to a 6

7/10. He brought energy, one of the best male performances. I was very impressed how he rolled around during OMG!

It was me or was he struggling almost at the beginning of his performance? of course he danced his ass off and he did a lot of tricks and sh#t on stage but I felt he was really struggling, he was sweating like crazy too.

There was a lot going on and nothing at the same time, the setlist wasn;t good either and at some point the guest performers outdid him, idk, he is extremely talented and a showman but... imma go check the performance again tho

I only knew one or two songs so I wasn't really in it. He did fine overall but nothing really surprising or impressive. I would give him 6.

He was dancing his ass off and sining live of course he’s gonna sweat. It’s freaking hard to dance on grass too

And of course the cameo performers out shined him. That was their job while he was changing outfits

It was like a 7/10. I think it could've had better stage production but he did great as a performer, the best male performer of the past years.

Messy setlist, messy pacing, too many guests, too much chaos with the dancers, sound mixing was horrible. The dancing was fine but nothing crazy. The vocals were alright. There weren’t really any good memorable moments.

It felt like there was a tightness missing to the show that made it feel more like a VMAs vanguard award performance more than SBHT. Did they not rehearse enough or what happened? Watching the show, I felt like I was looking at one of those AI generated images that has sorta familiar items but no actual real items and it was dissonant in my head.

Anyways, I give this a 4. 5 for me would be a perfectly acceptable and average halftime (The Weeknd for example). Usher was slightly below that for me which is disappointing considering he’s more of a performer than Abel.

He was a strong 8, definitely one of the best male performers, with hits for days
