I returned home to the UK for Christmas and immediately heard her on the radio like six times. The song seems to be a hit here and this is a market where we usually dump female artists after the first album. The US might pick up and if not she can move on to another single but her career is fine and ATRL is so dramatic. 

She’s gonna release DL3, it’ll her be her biggest debut and it’ll be critically acclaimed and it will produce atleast 1 hit. Then she’ll continue to release hits and all the ATRLers who keep making 700 threads about her will continue to fume  

start the supposed stadium tour. Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America beg for it

I still think Houdini has potential to grow or I could be delusional because I love it so much

Announce the album on January 3, pre-orders with a brand new single plus music video on January 5 at midnight GMT. Promotional single (final song released prior to the record) on February 9 with it being featured in an Super Bowl commercial featuring Dua Lipa on the 11th. Album is out officially on March 22 containing fourteen songs in total with no deluxe editions for at least a few months, but two alternative covers that are webstore exclusives.

 

Between January 5 and March 22, promotion would be consistent with live performances, radio interviews, and physical advertisements. During release week, Dua announces her forthcoming world tour at some point that will go from September-November 2024, January-April 2025, and finally June-September 2025.

She needs a big feature for her next single.

Yes, she is the queen of the radio, it's quite amazing actually 

Release the second single. Houdini could have smashed. It just didn't because sometimes you need to hit the right spot at the right time (luck) but another song can very well be the hit of this era. And if not, try with the third one. If she has a high profile collab there maybe it's time to release it.

Dua is on her way out anyway. Houdini will be her last significant chart impact for a while. Once Warner realise the GP are no longer clicking with her music they'll move on to the next radio pop girl to invest in (and the Dua Lipa radio payola machine will shut down).

She has an established fanbase and will continue releasing hopefully quality albums and tours and the occasional hit if they come.

Ava Max will also come big in 2024

Focus on timeless songs with real instrumentation. Her team has probably realized that the fluffy pop shtick is not gonna get her any further and that it's time for a shift.
