why are these two even being compared

PF2 smashed because Nicki has established herself as a legend in her genre.

 

Houdini has so far underperformed relative to expectations because the song isn't as strong as people expected (though it's still good). But let's wait and see what happens in the new year.

Nicki has a dedicated fanbase. I also don't think Houdini's run is nearly finished.

It only took Nicki dropping four vinyl of an incomplete album while lying about dropping four “new” tracks this week. 

Houdini outpeaked and by far outperformed every track from Pink Friday 2 on the Hot 100 and globally despite Dua not being a US artist. 

 

Future Nostalgia is bigger than every Nicki album put together and I'm sure her next one will be as well. Embarrassing thread.
