Not surprised here. Gaga hasn't even released a successful solo album since before Blue Ivy was born 

Not Sweet But Psycho getting more daily streams than the entirety of Chromatica 

 

SBP (single) : 897k daily

Chromatica (album) : 621k daily

funny how the LMs suddenly stopped bringing up Bey/Ren/BMS every two seconds when it became clear Chromatica was a complete flop in comparison

The Little Monsters nowhere to be found 

That cheap spandex she looks a mess 

Not the beehive acting like Regressionance destroyed flopmatica with that horrible music in it

 

If anything one performed like poop and the other one like fart. Both artists can do so much better.

The "comparisons" were inescapable last year, but as time progresses the differences are clear. RENAISSANCE is the superior album and moment. 

 

I love Gaga, but Bey's meticulous execution/attention to small details has made her projects far exceed her "peers" (especially quality-wise). I actually believe Chromatica is a step in the right direction. I just hope she comes back with something fresh and a concept that she believes in. 

 

Love Gaga, but Beyonce does NOT have competition at this point. She is a certified legend and has joined the ranks of legendary divas that survived multiple onslaughts. 

Better album obv. Gaga makes good albums but she needs to put her heart into it again. Give us something unhinged like Artpop.

Renaissance is still charting in both the U.S. and the UK, a month after the tour ended. Gaga’s album left both charts before it was even a year in 

 

One was a hit album, the other was a front loaded bomb 

gaga albums have been extremely fanbase driven post BTW so no surprise here

It was annoying how monsters were tearing down this album at all cost by forcing those comparisons but I'm over it. 

 

OT : Renaissance did better than I expected. 

Lady Gaga hasn't given a single hit album except that successful movie's soundtrack since 2011. And even flop that way was called underperformance back then, if people had followed charts in 2011. The reason is her music is unlistenable and gp dont care about her.

Chromatica is an unlistenable flop carried by an Ariana collab.

Ok I should've said one of the biggest female albums then. To be honest there hasn't been that much going on this decade so far and I haven't really paid attention to most of it, but Renaissance felt really prominent.

Monsters did the absolute MOST tearing this down just to eat **** later on  They talked so much that they can't even deny it. But the better album, better artist, better tour, and more talented person won in the end.
